On Saturday 26 September 2026, the Bim Diederich Sports Centre (Rue Pierre Hamer) in Pétange will be the place to be for anyone keen to get active, try out new sports and enjoy a lovely afternoon with family or friends.

 

To mark #BeActive Day, everyone is invited to celebrate the joy of physical activity. Whatever your age, fitness level or sporting experience, this event is open to all in a spirit of fun, discovery and sharing.

 

From 4.00 pm to 8.30 pm, a wide range of free activities, demonstrations and taster sessions organised by local clubs and partners await you at the Bim Diederich Sports Centre. Visitors will have the chance to try out new sports, meet coaches and representatives from sports organisations, and discover the wealth and diversity of sporting opportunities and physical activities on offer in Pétange.
